COVID-19 Business Continuity (March 2020)

Following a number of requests from our clients, LRES has produced a ‘Registered Training Organisation Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Organisational Management Arrangements and Business Continuity Plan ‘. The template document includes a compilation of advice from ASQA, Safe Work Australia, Fair Work Ombudsman and range of other sources, as accurate and to date 22nd March 2020, to allow RTOs can effectively decide on their management approach.  The document is in an editable Word format such that RTOs can adapt it to their continuity approach.  The document can be purchased online from our shop here.

Web Page Design and Development (December 2019)

LRES provides full web development services including website hosting, domain name registration, design and development to RTO clients designed to meet compliance standards related to RTO marketing. LRES is aware that RTOs have very specific requirements with regard to maintaining compliance and published web content.

Web development services include creating sites that meet the obligations within the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.

This service is currently available for a fixed fee of $5,000 (plus GST) which includes the first year of hosting, initial domain name registration, consultation, web design and publishing.

Note: Learning management systems and eCommerce integration are priced on application and not included in the fixed fee.

Employment and Vocational Placement Logbook (May 2019)

A log book has been designed to allow International Students to record paid or unpaid hours of work undertaken within Australia and allow them to record evidence of a minimum of 360 hours of employment and/or a vocational placement relevant to their qualification and nominated occupation that was completed in an Australian workplace within three years prior to submitting a PSA application for the TRA Job Ready Program.  The logbook is available for purchase in the online shop.

English for Academic Purposes (Intermediate) – Curriculum and Training/Assessment Materials (January 2018)

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course is designed to give students an introduction to the academic culture and English-language requirements of Australian vocational education. This course is intended for students wishing to undertake vocational education and training in Australia. The EAP course is designed to enable the students to proceed to courses at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level. The course aims to develop student awareness, knowledge and skills in the use of English as the language of teaching and learning in a vocational environment.  The program has been designed as an ELICOS program. The program may be purchased online in our online shop.

Supporting Learners with Special Needs

As part of the Victorian government Special Needs Plan, teachers are now required to build their capacity to teach learners with disability. Teachers must be able to identify the new learning they have gained from their PD and have evidence of attendance or engagement.  Refer to the Victorian Institute of Teaching FAQ Page for further details of this registration requirement. This PD program is designed to meet the Professional Development requirements related to building capacity to teach learners with disability. The program is also suitable for VET Trainers/Assessors wishing to maintain their VET training and assessing currency with professional development in inclusive practices.

Warning – unlawful reproduction of LRES Training Management Pty Ltd products by RTO Templates Pty Ltd.

It has come to our attention that RTO Templates Pty Ltd (RTO Templates) is reproducing and offering for sale LRES training and assessment materials (LRES products).

The LRES products include, but may not be limited to:

  • CPCCBC4018A Apply site surveys and set-out procedures to building Trainer Guide; and
  • CPCCBC4018A Apply site surveys and set-out procedures to building Learner Guide

LRES has sole ownership of the copyright in LRES products and has not authorised RTO Templates to reproduce or sell the LRES products.

The unauthorised reproduction and use of copyright materials is an infringement of the owner’s rights that attract an award of damages. Making an infringing copy commercially is an offence that can attract a fine of up to $595,000 or imprisonment for up to 5 years, or both.
