This unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge required to fit external electrical components, such as power inlet/outlet, speakers, antenna and side/marker lights, to a recreational vehicle. The work will be carried out in a recreational vehicle manufacturing facility.
This unit of competency covers the preparation for, fitting of, and clean-up after the fitting of external electrical components.
The operator will be required to work to procedures, and follow plans/specifications for what is required.
This unit of competency applies to an individual working alone or as part of a team/work group and working in liaison with other shift team members.
